We met Enzo Mari to begin a philosophical dialogue about the resin. We already knew that his rigorous way of thinking, his tendency to formal purity, his meticulous attention to details would have resulted into a new range of products.

With a cigar in his mouth, his profound voice and his natural inclination towards teaching, has led us deep inside his project: the fluidity of the resin had to be controlled and mastered, creating archetypal shapes, in a game of accurate, geometrical overlaps of the material.

In order to honour that moment, we have called the collection Lezioni ('Lessons'). We have paid attention to the lessons, we have studied and made our experiments.

These days, when we make our homework, creating his pieces, we put into practice his tuitions on the diligent care in overlapping the resin and on the meticulous choice of the colours.

Observing these objects, one can recognise the architectural vision of the Maestro, where the softness of the material, the transparencies and the opacities merge together along straight lines and basic shapes.

Lezioni by Enzo Mari is a timeless collection.

The day we met the Campana brothers in our laboratory, they gave us a glimpse of their extraordinary artisanal approach to the project: they started incorporating and gluing materials coming from their country, Brazil, using the resin. Leather, wood, bamboo give shapes and structures to objects where nature and resin melt together.

Their drawings talk about a harmonic nature, with organic shapes. In their objects, the resin follows the fluidity of nature indulging its curves, branches and imperfections.

NativoCampana collection fully expresses the dual attitude of the two designers: on one side their artisanal method which starts with the choice of the materials, on the other their own artistic language.

Resin and nature melt together.

Paola Navone guided us into a multicoloured journey where textures, patterns and colour combinations brought to life images and then objects able to take us around the world.

A blend of lines and colours creates a strong decorative pattern which evokes the beauty of merging together different cultures - because beauty lies in the stories an object can bring to mind.

Made with carefully chosen colours, in a definite chromatic palette with rigorous combinations.

This is a collection with a cosmopolitan spirit.

Alessandro Mendini’s collection is in fiberglass, a material the Maestro knew very well. When we started thinking about the range, he wanted to reclaim the Italian artisanal tradition of fiberglass (for decades all the carousels were made in Italy and exported around the world), creating objects where shapes, proportions and graphics would be always related to each other.

Each shape and decoration correspond to a specific vase. Shapes and decorations cannot be mixed up because they have cultural roots which links them to one another.

Mendinismi is a collection inspired by different cultures, from the Etruscan to the Chinese to the French one, from which each vase takes its name.

The theoretic diligence finds a wonderful practical lightness between colours and original graphics… truly ‘Mendinismi’.
